Shaping ideas into existence

From the initial moulding of raw clay into dynamic pieces, through the transformative firing in an idyllic farm setting, to the meticulously applied finishing touches, each stage of Izette's process is an intimate dance of creativity and craftsmanship.

  • Moulding

Each sculpture begins as raw material, transformed under Izette’s skilled hands into abstract forms that celebrate the feminine figure. Over several weeks, clay and concept intertwine, resulting in a unique expression of Izette's artistic identity.

  • Firing

The sculptures journey to a serene farm for the firing process. Amidst the tranquil beauty, the pieces are imbued with the spirit of the setting. Under intense heat, the sculptures solidify, their forms echoing enduring strength and resilience of femininity.

  • Finishing

The finishing stage is where Izette's ceramic pieces fully embrace their identity. The sculptures are polished and burnished, their surfaces acquiring a sheen and an expertly curated selection of glazes, adding depth and nuance to each piece.
